Confidence Builder- Pre-season Trek

Ride out time – 10.30 am
Do you dream about heading into the hills and exploring the country, but aren’t sure what to expect on the treks you see advertised?
Here’s your chance to ‘have a go’ and join some experienced, helpful riders, who can offer support and experience to guide you through water crossing, hills and tracks. Along with some tips on the expected etiquette.
The location is a beautiful property at the end of Warahoe Rd Matatoki
(between Kopu and Puriri St/Hwy 26)
This is not the ride for you to bring your young horse that you want to get some experience sorry.
Cost is $50
A sausage sizzle will be held afterwards, with a general ‘debrief’ and questions can be asked.
Due to the nature of the ride, you will need to preregister. No late registrations will be taken, and registrations close, with full payment by Friday 24 August.

Fundraiser for the Kaitieke School bus
 The weekend will comprise of 3 days trekking through scenic farmland, together with outstanding food, great entertainment and wonderful company.
 The trek will be based at the Kaitieke Domain
 The riding will be along good tracks and ridge tops – all quite safe and some road work will be necessary.
It will be at walking pace, but we request experienced riders only.
 The trek will traverse some steep terrain, therefore a reasonable level of fitness will be required.
- On a scale of 1-5 (1 being roads and lanes and 5 being unbulldozed land) we rate our trek @ 3.5.

Late registrations received after 15 October 2018 will be charged an additional fee of $40.

Nukuhakari Station - Waikawau. 2-3-4 November
Base camp at Nukuhakari Station, the jewel of the King Country’s west coast.
Three amazing bays, a seal colony and rolling hills looking out to the Tasman Sea!
Set up camp in your own tent, truck etc.
Join us anytime 3pm onward Thursday including dinner (1st Nov). All meals will be provided.
Horses paddocked – no tapes. No stallions or dogs.
Great music booked for a party on Friday night
