17th ANNUAL KAITIEKE HORSE TREK
20, 21 & 22 October 2018
Fundraiser for the Kaitieke School bus
The weekend will comprise of 3 days trekking through scenic farmland, together with outstanding food, great entertainment and wonderful company.
The trek will be based at the Kaitieke Domain
The riding will be along good tracks and ridge tops – all quite safe and some road work will be necessary.
It will be at walking pace, but we request experienced riders only.
The trek will traverse some steep terrain, therefore a reasonable level of fitness will be required.
- On a scale of 1-5 (1 being roads and lanes and 5 being unbulldozed land) we rate our trek @ 3.5.

Late registrations received after 15 October 2018 will be charged an additional fee of $40.
Horse 'N' Around Adventures NZ 2018 Spring Trek
When: Sunday 28th October
Where: Leaving From 76 Townsend Rd, Wharepapa South (Approximately 25 minutes South of Arapuni, or South East of Te Awamutu, or 40 minutes from Hinuera if you are attending our Saturday Ribbon Day)
Limited to 20 Riders Only (a waiting list will be taken if we reach our limit)
Ride Out Time: 10am
Cost: $40 per rider
Helmets MUST be worn by all riders under 18yrs.
Absolutely NO DOGS Allowed.
Camping available $10 per person Saturday night from 4pm.
Join in our pot luck shared dinner/bbq and drinks if you are camping over.
If attending our ribbon day on Saturday we will be convoying from Hinuera to the trek venue on Saturday afternoon if you would like to join in.
Horses are to be housed overnight in taped pens (byo), or some yards are available, but these will need to be reserved.
Horse 'N' Around Adventures NZ are joining forces for the day with Stone Hill Horse Treks. Come and join us for a day of trekking over stunning countryside with breath taking views. This is a trek for experienced riders.
We will trek out to a lovely part of the property where we will stop for lunch. Then will be guided back to base during the afternoon. (Please bring your own packed lunch).
This will be a walking trek.

Registrations will be taken prior to this weekend, no registrations will be taken on the day.

A non-refundable $20 deposit will hold your spot if paid by 1st October 2018.

Waikato Hunt Trek
8th, 9th and 10th February,
The Waikato Hunt Trek is going to be based at the Ngaroma Hall with rides on Friday afternoon the 8th of February, Saturday the 10th and Sunday morning the 11th.
This is very interesting country with truly majestic views.
This is Queen Street trekking with all meals from Friday dinner through to Sunday lunch catered, great showers, great country and most of all great socialising.
There will be entertainment on the Saturday night with more details to follow.
This is walking only over easy county.
There will be come climbing to get the best views so a reasonable level of fitness is required. We will continue to update details over the coming months.
